I want to be with you
I want to be with you like that deserted campervan by the kerb of a forbidden road where nobody passes by anymore.
That van, which with a plethora of its memories of ocean roads and mountain slopes in all its scratches and dents, now sits idle and rusty in its sheer submission to the creepers’ arrogance and the comforts of little creatures.
I want to be with you.
I want to be with you like that sunset sparrow prancing in a drinking fountain.
That sparrow, which with a bundle of scare inside its tiny heart that someone would shoo him away or might even hurt him, yet takes its trippy-happy shower in the sprinkler and wets its wings before returning to his little nest.
I want to be with you.
I want to be with you like that hill-slope flower daring the sights of an overlooking cliff above the darkest depths of the bluest blues.
That flower, which with its delicate knowledge of ephemeral mortality and its onus of the pollens, yet still sways and swings in the midnight sea breeze like a coquette as if there's always a tomorrow.
I want to be with you.
I want to be with you like that sprinting wave that races to the rugged shore in a whimsical hurry.
That wave, which with its curdling sands and frothy salinity before crashing against the rocks, yet houses the tender pearls alongside the broken shells traveling together with it.
I want to be with you.
I want to be with you like that rolling raindrop on a windowpane when it’s lightning thunders from the skies.
That raindrop, which with its momentary gaiety and the smell of cold air from far far above, nearly touches your face and rolls down your lips as you lean on the glass from inside and yet drenches you from within with all its sun-soaked memories and moist desires.
I want to be with you.
I want to be with you like that comforting warmth in the living room hearth on a snowy winter night.
That warmth, that very warmth, which with its subtle crimson glow of trust and the burning desires of gold, melts down all the inhibitions that have been frozen for a million eons and makes you all mine… all of you… for ever and after and then some more.
